Top 10 Most Valuable Ascended Heroes Cards

What is Pokémon TCG Ascended Heroes?

Released on January 30, 2026, Pokémon TCG: Ascended Heroes (ME 2.5) serves as the first major "special set" of the 30th-anniversary year, reigniting the beloved Mega Evolution mechanic for a new era. Unlike standard expansions, it followed a staggered release schedule—beginning with Tech Sticker Collections in January and moving into Elite Trainer Boxes in February—meaning booster packs could only be found within specific bundled products rather than individual boxes. With a massive checklist of over 290 cards, the set primarily adapts Japan's Mega Dream ex and Start Deck 100 Battle Collection, introducing the long-awaited Mega Dragonite ex and featuring high-stakes "Mega Attack Rare" cards with bold Japanese katakana text. Its launch effectively set the stage for a year of nostalgic celebrations, blending modern ex power with the tactical depth of Mega Evolutions.

Ascended Heroes Release Schedule and Product Availability

Because Ascended Heroes is a "special expansion" (similar to Crown Zenith or Pokémon 151), you won't find individual booster boxes on store shelves. Instead, the set follows a highly staggered, three-month release schedule, keeping singles prices high. While the set officially "launched" on January 30, 2026, only products like the Tech Sticker Collections (3 packs) were initially available. The heavy hitters, like the Elite Trainer Boxes and Mini Tins, didn't arrive until February 20, and the high-value Premium Poster Collections featuring Mega Lucario and Mega Gardevoir are slated for March 20. Most importantly for budget-conscious collectors, the Booster Bundles—typically the most cost-effective way to hunt chase cards (like the ones you'll see below), won't hit retail until April 24, 2026. This slow drip of inventory means that the market is currently in a phased where demand far outstrips the available packs.

Don't forget you can browse our in-stock sealed products, graded slabs, and singles to find our Ascended Heroes products.

Ascended Heroes God Packs Explained

One of the most thrilling aspects of opening Ascended Heroes is the return of the legendary God Pack. If you've been following the Pokémon TCG community lately, you've probably seen these things pop up all over social media, and for good reason. These ultra-rare booster packs are basically a collector's dream come true. Imagine opening a pack and instead of the usual mix of commons and uncommons, you get hit with an absolute avalanche of high-rarity cards.

What's Inside an Ascended Heroes God Pack?

So what exactly makes a God Pack so special? A confirmed Ascended Heroes God Pack contains three Mega Attack Rares followed by seven Special Illustration Rares (SIRs). That's ten premium cards in a single pack. The easiest way to spot one is to look at the very first card—if you see a Mega Attack Rare sitting where a common card should be, you've just won the lottery. Those bold Japanese katakana characters are basically your golden ticket. The full set list, including all the SIRs can be found on Pokebeach.

God Pack Pull Rates and Value

Now, here's the thing: the odds of actually pulling one of these are absolutely brutal. We're talking roughly 1 in 1,000 packs, maybe even rarer. But that's exactly why they've become such a big deal. When someone does manage to snag a God Pack, the contents can easily be worth over £2,000. It's no wonder these pack openings have gone viral.
